Here at REWIND we understand that everyone has specific needs when it comes to what type of work you are looking for. For that reason we offer different services for our clients to select from, giving you the choice to find what works best for you.

  • Signature Scans

    Film development + Scanning + Custom Edits. Clients looking for more consistent images while not wanting to spend too much time editing your photos, Signature Scans are what you are looking for. Your film will be scanned and then edited in Photoshop by our experienced editors. Our team will work closely with you in setting up a custom Signature Profile so that we can edit to your specific style and taste. *see bottom of this page for more details on custom Signature Profile

  • Standard Scans

    Film development + Scanning. Scanned neutrally and delivered with color adjustments made in the scanner only. Great for those who are looking for a more affordable option. Also the best choice if you're turning in a Disposable Camera. Our team of talented scanner technicians will work hard at making your film look great straight from the scanner, but it is in your hands to fine-tune your work if needed.

  • Develop Only

    Film development only. No digital scans. If you shoot film but have your own scanner at home, Develop Only is the perfect option for you. Our team is happy to process your color or black & white negatives at an affordable cost.

Are you wanting a physical copy of the moments you captured?

Using our Fuji DX100 printer, we offer 4x6 prints for an additional $5 per roll (120), $8 per roll (35mm 24-27exp) or $10 per roll (35mm 28+exp). Just mark Add Prints on your order form and we are glad to add prints along with your digital files.

The Rewind Process (If mailing in film)

  • 1. Prepare Your Order Form

    On our website you will find our fillable Order Form. Download the order form and either print a copy and fill it out or fill it in and send it to us at rewindfilmlab@gmail.com. Be sure to fill out all necessary areas and let us know your preferences. In the Important Notes section on the order form make sure to let us know of any other significant details about your shoot.

  • 2. Sending Your Film

    It’s important that your film is sent to us safely. For that reason, please place your film in a ziplock bag along with your Order Form. We highly recommend you place your film in a box before sending it off to help keep it safe. We also encourage you to use a mail service that allows you to track your package while it’s on its way to REWIND.

  • 3. Invoice Preparation

    When your film is delivered to us, you will receive an invoice which will include the information from your order form. Make sure to look over your invoice for any changes you may need. Your invoice will include your estimated due date. This will give you a time frame for when to expect your finished order. We work hard on getting that to you as soon as possible.

  • 4. Film Developing

    Once you have received your invoice from us, we will move on to developing your film. To give you time to review your invoice, we will wait until the next day before we develop your film. In order to control the quality of our film development, we process all color and b&w film in our lab. While making sure to monitor our chemistry everyday to maintain the highest standards for our clients.

  • 5. Film Scanning

    It’s time for your film to become digital images! Here at Rewind we scan using Fuji Frontier Sp3000s Scanners to work our magic. These scanners give us the ability to create consistency from frame to frame. It allows our experienced scanning technicians the control to look over and correct every image. If you selected Signature Scans, our skilled editors will then take your images in Photoshop and edit to your style preferences.

  • 6. Order Delivery!

    Now that our editors have done the final step in quality control, your order is ready to be delivered. We will send you an email notification via WeTransfer with your images. If you added prints, we will then print your images as well. Your film negatives will then be handled as marked on your Order Form. After you view your order feel free to give us a call or email and let us know what you liked and didn’t like about your images so we can work on finetuning your vision.

 

Custom Signature Profile

For our Signature Scan clients we recommend setting up a Signature Profile with us. We always want to make sure your photos turn out how you envisioned them. For that reason we suggest emailing us reference photos so we can set up your preferences on file. After we deliver your order, we encourage you to send us before and after images so we can better fine-tune the look you are going for. Those before and afters can then be added to your custom profile. An open communication chain is very important to us. We encourage you reaching out to us so we can better perfect your images and learn your style for future orders.
